Secrets Behind The Act Of Clothing Donation PA

By Christopher Cooper

Developed countries always have a criterion of helping the poor in their society, in this case, they donate various items including household goods and clothing which is later given to the less fortunate. There are various firms that collect these items which are donated and shipped to developing countries. Other clothing donation PA are given to people who live in suburbs of the major capital cities of different places of the developed countries.

Agencies which collect these clothing are led by greed-driven people who instead of giving them to the less fortunate in the country they sell these cloths. African market is the most eyed source of income to these money lovers who sell them at a low cost but sell as much tones as possible hence bringing forth reputable profits. The reason behind this is because many Africans live a hand to mouth lifestyle hence cannot afford new shipped clothes which are costly.

Africa appreciates less expensive clothes which are brought at a cheaper price and later sold, the rate of which the clothes are sold higher but affordable to the common man. These clothes have a very high demand and everyone likes to have a portion of the goodies the so-called donated clothes. They are later sold in open air markets which people select them in a bent posture.

This kind of business brings more good harm than good to the economy of the third world countries, though the country earns taxation income when these garments are shipped in other demerits follow. Loss of jobs to workers in local production firms, small-scale producers lose their market and so on. These demerits bite hard the economy and its growth declines.

Africa being a continent blessed with natural resources and rich flora and fauna which help the continent to have a good flow of foreign currency. There are major commodities which are exported like coffee, tea and so on though there are also minor commodities which scales the economy rate at a higher level, the items include locally made clothes which are beautifully designed and attracts everyones eyes. They include the Maasai-Shukas which normally are popular in Kenya, this patrol community has the pride of their clothes.

Textile industries collapse due to low market forces hence end up sending the workers home since the products they make are no longer marketable. When jobs are lost the workers end up being a security threat since robbery increases at a higher rate. Families of people who are employed by the textile firms ends up lacking basic needs and in this case they become beggars.

Charitable firms which like The Salvation Army put it in black and white that the clothes are sold to bring forth more income for good causes. The cash helps in transportation and paying workers who are involved in the process at large. This makes the firms have a stable income flow hence the rate of collapsing is low.

Developing countries government should come up with rules to scrap exit of local garments. This includes reducing the tax rate of the local industries and taxing the imported cloths. These steps will help the country conquer in matters of exporting local clothes and economy will incline.
