Organizing an event can be tiresome and draining and if you can afford to hire an event planner to help you, then by all means do so. There are many planners who are available in the market, so you want to ensure that you do your homework right and find the right wedding assistant in Bali. Here are some major things which you should consider when looking for a planner.

Decide the scale of help you need. Whether you need someone to help you on a full time basis, or you just need someone to help you on the material day. You can also just get a planner who will only help you find the best vendors and venue for your big day.

There are some things that you should have agreed upon as a couple before you start your search for a planner. This includes agreeing on the date of your big day and the number of people you would like to invite to the event. You should also have agreed on how much you are willing to pay the planner.

The first thing you want to ask the planner is if they are available on the day of your event. You don't want to start discussing details with the planner only to find out later that they have been already booked for another event on the same day. You should also know how many events they will be working on concurrently with yours. This will help you figure out if they are too busy to give your event enough attention.

Ask them how many weddings they have planned before. You want to work with someone who some level of experience organizing events. This will assure you that they know what they are doing. You can also find out if they have worked as an assistant to another planner before.

Most planners have a minimum budget that they would like to work with. Ask the planner the range of budgets they handle. If it is way above your budget, you may want to find someone else whose services you can afford. Also, if your budget is way above what they have worked with, they may get overwhelmed and may not be able to deliver to your expectations.

If you already have a venue in mind, ask the planner if they have organized an event at the place before. If they have, then this may work to your advantage. This is because they will already be familiar with the place and they may have established good relations with the staff at the venue.

Ask the planner what the process of working with them would be like. They may want a lot of your input and a lot of back and forth communication may be necessary. Other planners just wait to fill you in on all the details at once they have completed the organization. So knowing which style the planner prefers will save you a lot of frustration.
