Book Tries To Validate The Biblical Timeline Of Creation

By Alta Alexander

Bruce Malone, founder of a publication firm called Search for the Truth, published a book named Brilliant: Made in the Image of God. It is a hardcover on-the-coffee-table book. It tries to utilize a timeline of scientific and archaeological facts in validation of the Creation. It hopes to authenticate the Bible account about the Creation. Malone says his Biblical timeline account gives the book a unique position.

Malone further asserts that many books dealing with Creation attempt to give scientific evidence. The evidence usually presented supports the reality of a master designer out there. The book matches the earth history to the timeline on the Bible. Cultures everywhere in the world have mysteries that do not fit into evolutionary periods. These cultures, however, make perfect sense with the understanding of the timeline in the Bible. The book gives serious thought to the Bible and each page has an artifact from an old culture affirming the reality of events in history.

The book has registered several discoveries that the author thinks are a validation of the Creation. An example is the discovery of dinosaur bones that have un-decayed tissues. This would not be possible if these bones happened to be as old as millions in years. The title has an ancient map covering the coastline of Antarctica before over-running in ice during the era of Ice Age.

Modern textbooks inform us that the Ice Age started two thousand years ago. This means that the map is a fraud if this was the case, Malone asserts. Noah flooding came after the era of the Ice Age when the holy Bible context falls into historical timelines. On the other hand, the map validates Biblical reality because people would have visited and documented this area ahead of ice over-run.

Search for the Truth Publications, in addition to Brilliant, has re-launched one of their popular titles Censored Science. This book attempts to show evidence from each common scientific discipline such as earth science, biological science, physics and cosmology. It attempts to do this in an easy to understand and non-technical way.

Bruce Malone background is in research and science. For twenty-seven years, he worked for Dow Chemical, creating seventeen patents. He has visited twelve countries giving more than six hundred lectures regarding the Creation. The publication company he founded has published more than two hundred thousand titles. Most of their books have Creation as the main subject.

Malone thinks our cultures have continuously discredited the Creation accounts in the holy Bible. He thinks Christians have totally failed to explain the faith. His opinion is that Christians fail to explain how trustworthy the Bible is. Concentration has been on matters spiritual and Jesus. This is in contradiction to Jesus who did not attempt to separate the scriptural accounts about history from matters spiritual. In John, chapter three verse twelve, Jesus wonders how his followers will understand spiritual matters if they do not understand when he speaks of worldly matters.

The publication firm, Search for the Truth hopes to connect science, history and the holy book. Most of their books contain two-page summaries regarding technical and complex subjects. The titles are not boring, long technical tomes that seek to change readers into experts in science. Their books are interesting, relevant and have illustrations that hope to show how and why modern science misinterprets evidence.
