Occult Supplies Online And Other Interesting Things

By Minnie Whitley

Before the time when Christianity and other forms of religion was introduced massively in communities, the natives had ancient deities who they believed was responsible for all the events on earth. They used to worship the sun, moon, and stars and supreme beings who oversee the life and activities of every creature that roam the land. They used to offer sacrifices to remedy floods, droughts, plagues, and the like. They have profound respect for non living things such as rocks and mountains, believing these are somewhat connected to the ancient deities.

When people turned to religion as a source of faith, these pagan rituals were instantly cast off and branded as satanic. Special contraptions and ingredients, including occult supplies online are banned to the buying public. Anybody suspicious is automatically seen as a witch or a warlock. During the dark ages, these people who are believed to be dabbling in the magical arts are considered as threats to the community and are killed even without enough evidences.

Though these rampant killings have eventually died down, these practices remain. Occultism is still regarded as dark magic, and people are always advised against it. Such practices are, even in present day way of thinking, still termed as blasphemous and are mortal sins against most religions.

The word occult means secret or hidden. It is meant by many as a sort of special classified knowledge in the world of the unknown. It is a practice that supposedly guides a person into another realm where most people are not allowed to go to. Since one supposedly delves into the dark to see the future, it has gain quite a dark reputation as well.

Occult is a very broad area that touches specific subjects such as astrology, or using the position of stars to determine the destiny of an individual. Divination practices such as fortune telling with the use of crystal balls and tarot cards that divine the upcoming events are also under occultism.

This is a very interesting subject for many. Even though technology has successfully answered most of the mysteries of life, still, a lot of people find occultism as a thing of interest. Like everything, this special interest begins with insatiable curiosity. Young occult fans start with the well known Ouija Board and the cliche Spirit of the Glass. From these swimmingly innocent and prank games, they become more and more curious about the other advanced subjects.

Symbols related to the dark side abound in daily living. The v sign symbol using the hand which the Asian use when they take cute pictures are supposedly a symbol of the Illuminati. The hand symbol used by hard rock fans and bands are supposedly a reference to the horns of the devil.

Stars enclosed in circles are also believed to be satanic. Pentagrams, inverted pentagram, hexagrams and anarchy symbols are, according to some, used by someone who worships the dark side. They are most often seen in goth merchandise, which has lead the public to think that the punks and goths are devil worshippers.

No matter how much it is being condemned, people can not run away from the magnetism of the mystical world of occult. In fact, there are clandestine groups that dabble in magic. They make use of special tools and ingredients just to satisfy their hunger for answers to nagging questions they feel no religion can ever answer.
